Recently The NC KIPP Forward Team had the opportunity to visit colleges in the Mid-Atlantic region. We checked on KIPPsters at North Carolina Central, UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina A&T, UNC Greensboro and Winston Salem State. We were able to share some SWAG and test drive our new e-Pulse Check Process.
How does an e-Pulse Check Work? Student's were able to scan the QR Code on our sign to download a contact card in their phone. The contact card provided links to our phone number, website and pulse check survey. The survey allowed students to discretely answer questions about finances, academics and their emotional and physical wellbeing using their cell phones.
Is a survey enough? No, we know a survey is not a substitute for face to face conversation. It's just one link in a longer chain of support we provide for KIPPsters as they pursue their dreams
